MittyGate is a triggered
delay and reverb effect from www.SoundDesigners.biz
which features triggerable reverb and delay. Trigger sources include
audio dynamics, LFO oscillator, and MIDI tracks.
As well as providing
much needed classic control of when parts are effected (like a single
note or end of a phrase) MittyGate also allows some unique transmutations
by imposing effects rhythms on top of audio parts. Mixes can be cleaned
up and offer more impact as effects are only provided when required
and avoids the common “mush” associated with normal drone effects. Extra
rhythms can also be superimposed on existing material changing its feel
entirely.
The delay provides
4 seconds of delay with full modulation for phasing, flanging, chorus,
ADT and slap back echo effects. All of which can then be reverb'd. The
provided LexoVerb reverb is a unique implementation using spectral
enhancement.
Extra features include
a Band Pass Filter arrangement with a KILL switch, trigger hold and
enveloping. Full VST automation, mixdown and 128 presets are incorporated.
What was previously
a difficult Arrangement technique to emulate with complex audio routings,
can now be played like a musical instrument using MittyGate.
